A post ago, I showed you some Victorian die cut roses I framed up for a friend. Well, she has them up in her new kitchen and isn't it all perfect so far? Nice job Carly!
Thanks Kimberly. I'll make sure Carly gets your message. It is a wonderful color. I think she told me she must have tried six different quarts before she found the perfect one. Just like her mother in that department. :)
Kathy, you got it right-22, and yes, 22 different samples before I got it! haha-yes I have a disorder. But of course none of the 22 were just right, so I took about 3 of them and mixed my own color :) Just today I was telling Micah I wish it were a little more on the "green side" and I he gave me a look like he was going to kill me! haha, but I couldn't be more happy with how it goes with my new hangings :)
Creativity and I have traveled a long road together. I attended BYU for four+ years studying Interior Design. Over the years, I've worked at a wallpaper studio, paint store, art gallery, and fabric store. I've sewn all my life and have assembled a ridiculous amount of vintage fabric. I'm married to my high school sweetheart and have four remarkable children. I spent thirteen years on my local school board and my husband is an outstanding public middle school teacher, so education is a familiar topic at our house. And now I work a few hours a day as a teacher's aide and love it. Welcome to my on again off again blog about these things.
Very cute! Love her wall color, too.
