Signs of Fall

It's been chilly and rainy all week.  Here's a little reminder for myself and everybody else that autumn is a beautiful time of the year.  P.S.  If you have any ideas what to do with all the concord grapes, leave a comment.  P.S.S.  No, I don't know how the jack-o-lantern totem pole came to wear the viking helmet, but it's been his favorite hat for years... and this year with Brett Farve on the Vikings it's especially questionable attire in Wisconsin.

  1. Do you have a juicer Kathy? You could juice the grapes and then make grape jelly. Doesn't that sound YUMMY??

  2. No juicer. How does one work? Can they get around all those seeds and super sour skin? I'd love to do something with all those grapes.

  3. I have one- you can use it if you'd like. All you do is dump the grapes - seeds, stems and all in the top of the juicer. It steams the fruit and you get only the juice. EASY PEASY! Wanna use mine?

Lemon tree very pretty, and the lemon flower is sweet-
But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat.
